What is it?

Dermal fillers are FDA-approved injections that are used to restore lost volume through subtle placement in areas of the face. 

 

Hyaluronic Acid, a hydrating molecule found naturally in our bodies, is used as the base of the product. Some types of filler have calcium based structures that stimulate collagen production as well. 

How does dermal filler work?

Restoring lost volume with dermal filler creates a healthy, youthful appearance.

 

As we age, our face naturally loses some of its fullness in the form of receding bone and fat pad loss. This loss of volume leads to facial shadowing, deeper folds, and the appearance of lines. 

 

When we identify areas with volume-loss and recreate that structure with small filler injections, skin lays smoother on the face while wrinkles and sagging are improved.
