What is Platelet Rich Fibrin?

Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a specific portion of our blood. Platelets are a type of blood cell used for clotting, but they also have impressive healing properties.

What are the benefits?

Platelets are rich in over 20 growth factors, including numerous factors shown to stimulate hair regrowth and collagen production, promote hydration, and improve the skin's texture, pigmentation, and laxity.

How do you obtain the plasma?

To obtain the Platelet-Rich Fibrin, we draw a small amount of blood from the patient and spin it at precise settings in an FDA-approved centrifuge. This separates the platelets from the red blood cells and gives us the concentrated plasma for injection.

Next, the blood is spun down in a centrifuge using a low spin speed to preserve the majority of the cells.
